when i open a new set and drag & drop a song into an audio track in the arrangement view, it auto-sets the global tempo to that track's tempo. however, if i try this again with another song, or even try it with the same song in a new audio track, it won't auto-set the global tempo anymore. help.

sorry man, it doesn't. my acapellas do not match, and yes its in session view. they drift out almost immediately. perhaps you should look over your explanation again

Hi Stephen,

You have to be in ARRANGEMENT view, not session view. In other words, you need to make sure you are doing this in the multitrack mode rather than the clip launching mode. Make sense?
