Remix Magazine has been slowly but surely updating their site with better navigation and more multimedia content. (The web site used to really really suck.) In fact, most of the videos from the various 2007 Remix Hotels have been posted — Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, and Miami. Here are two of my favorites that I think are worth checking out.

Remixer/producer Eric Kupper, who has worked on tracks for Madonna, Seal, Ciara, Goldfrapp and many more, talks about the “voodoo of music” and discusses the importance of carving holes in a track when too many parts are going on in the mix. This guy is insane — he makes between 4 and 20 records a month!
