It’s that time again! This coming Saturday — that’s January 13th, 2007 – Bootie is proud to present their first mashup party of the new year.

And boy is it a busy month! In the main room, Bootie will feature an on-stage showcase set from resident DJ Party Ben. He’s been cooking up a fresh batch of mashed-up material, including new versions of his classic bootlegs along with new tracks.

In the upstairs room, Bootie will hand the decks over to DJ duo D.R. One and Grandtheft, collectively known as the Team Canada DJs. Well-known up north, these guys tear through a spectrum of danceable genres –- from rock to funk via unabashed pop back to hip-hop then R&B and electro -– with a quick mixing style and extensive record selection. Should be cool.

And as usual, Bootie house band Smash-Up Derby will hit the stage at 11 pm sharp. Classic AC/DC has always been a bootlegged favorite at Bootie, and this month the band promises to play the one “Back In Black” mashup to rule them all! Bring your lighters, kids!

And last, but certainly not least, DJs Dada, Adrian, and Mysterious D will be spinning front room sets throughout the night.
