According to BBC News, Vivendi Universal has agreed to make its entire catalogue available on the yet-to-be-launched ”free” Spiralfrog music service. Momma always told me that there’s no such thing as a free lunch, and in the case of Spiralfrog, you’ll need to endure advertisements in exchange for the “free” music. No specific details of how intrusive these ads will be or how they’ll be delivered. Whatever they do, let’s hope they skip the DRM! Read the full article for details.

interesting.
But they won’t skip the DRM! You’re only able to play it on Playsforsure media!
But things get cool: You already told for the tool to delete the DRM from WM10!
I just read anything about the ads. It seems that there will be 90sec full screen advertisment while the download. I think if it pays for it it may be ok but I will go on searching for Opendirs and buying the good albums and tracks. Digital lossencoded is always bader quality than a cd!
You might not hear that differencies at a party but quality should always win shouldn’t it?
