Dear Dream Musician,
Congratulations on launching DreamMusician.com. It’s a great idea and I’m sure there are a number of musicians and DJs who are just as excited. I spent about a half hour today browsing through your catalog, filling my cart with various song stems from my favorite artists. The interface is a little rough around the edges, and there isn’t much available yet, but I’m sure over time you’ll smooth it out.
However, I need to let you know that you’ve lost a once enthusiastic potential customer. First, your prices are extremely high. This is forgivable, given the vertical market you are serving and the effort required to acquire multitrack recordings. The Digital Rights Management (DRM), however, isn’t something I can forgive. It’s a hassle and extremely customer-unfriendly. Why not sell customers what they really want — stem tracks unencumbered by DRM.
Take my advice and ditch the draconian DRM!
Sincerely,
Matt Hite

I second that motion.
It looks like it would be a cool enough service if you didn’t have to jump through hoops to load the stems into an audio editor. Argh!!!
What the hell happened, I have been waiting al my life for a site like this and now, I just get “save the radio” Is dreammusician alive??
It would appear that their business model didn’t work out…
