After over two years at the same venue, promoters Adrian and Deidre have decided that the time has come to leave Cherry Bar (now called Annie’s Social Club) and move their mash-up party to the much larger DNA Lounge. Which means that this Saturday, February 11th, 2006 will mark the very last Bootie at its “birth place.” Please come help send Bootie off in style at a very special Valentine’s party. DJ Adrian will get the love flowing with a special love song mash-up set at 10 pm, followed by the return of guest DJ Freddy, King of Pants, from Seattle’s FrankenBoot mash-up club at 11 pm. Anna Conda stars in the midnight mash-up show, and then Party Ben and Mysterious D will tear it up till 2. There’ll even be backroom karaoke. Alcohol and karaoke are a bad combination for me, so please keep me away from the back room.
Bootie is located inside Annie’s Social Club (formerly the Cherry Bar) at 917 Folsom at 5th in San Francisco, CA. Doors open at 9 pm and close at 2 am. 21+ only. Cover is $5 before 10 pm and $8 after.
