After 111 shows, Live 105’s mash-up mix show producer Party Ben has decided to throw in the Sixx Mixx towel. Sadly, Friday, December 30th, 2005 was the last Sixx Mixx that will air on Live 105. Ben will move on as co-host of a Friday night music show on the same station. The new show will feature the occasional bootleg, although it sounded like this will not be the emphasis of the new show’s material.
On a side note, I was pleasantly surprised to hear my Lovemakers/Trans-X mash-up featured as the #2 mash-up of 2005 on the finale Sixx Mixx. It’s an honor to chart and find myself included in the round-up. Thanks for the recognition, Ben.
