DRM Provider Pledges to Break Apple’s FairPlay DRM

I think DRM sucks, and I applaud any attempt to thwart it. It has to make you wonder, though, when one provider pledges to break another’s DRM scheme. That’s right — DRM provider Navio “has pledged to hack Apple’s FairPlay digital rights management technology, and provide that hack to online music retailers.” Gosh, even the digital rights management camp gets pissed when they are locked out of something. Sucks, doesn’t it?
