I actually preferred it before they moved to Version 1.0 - the interface was changed significantly. And I had a lot of problems with it crashing. That said - I enjoyed using it - it was a cheap and free way of DJ'ing on a laptop. It was also interesting because they've done some work on allowing the use of control surfaces. If you're looking for an alternative to Traktor I would definitely suggest giving Mixxx a go - just be sure you do a lot of long sets in your bedroom first so you can be sure it won't crash on you.
