The granddaddy of bootleg blogs is calling it quits:
personally,
i have tired of it. i’ve been doing this 4 years now, and it’s time for
me to move on to something fresh and original. i never wanted to write
about music. i’m no good with wanky metaphors and musically-literate
descriptions. i just loved the music i was hearing, and wanted to
spread it to as wide an audience as possible.
We’ll miss you, Boomselection. Thanks for exposing me to some truly great music these past few years.

Surprised there’s no mention of the whole “never mind the bootlegs” ripoff / disappearing act in his glorious summary of achievements (nor extended thanks to the people that picked up the shit he left behind at the time).
Sure early Boom did a lot, but it should have stayed awol tbh.
