Bootie is taking their show on their road! Buoyed by the club’s San Francisco success, Adrian & the Mysterious D are eager to spread the love and bring their show to Los Angeles. They’ve teamed up with DJ Paul V. of Indie 103.1 to debut their unique mash bash at The Echo, 1822 Sunset Blvd., Echo Park. The evening will also feature a guest DJ set from Party Ben, widely considered the best mash-up DJ in America, known mostly for his ingenious Green Day vs. Oasis hybrid, “Boulevard of Broken Songs,” a track which received considerable airplay on commercial radio, including heavy rotation on Indie 103.1 and KCRW — highly unusual for a pirated song which was never legitimately released! Adding to the party vibe will be a midnight mash-up performance by Princess Kennedy, hot go-go dancers, and tons of free CD giveaways, including the new, nationally-released CD The Best Mashups In The World Ever Are From San Francisco. Plus, the first 50 people through the door will receive a free Bootie mash-up CD. Doors are at 9 pm. Cover is $5 before 10 pm, and $8 after.
