DJMP3sites.com promises to catalog “all the legal DJ MP3 download sites that exist on the Internet.” Sounds like an admirable cause! Complete with reviews and ratings, this is definitely worth checking out if you are a digital DJ looking for legit ways of obtaining new music.

Interesting, since the RIAA has been somewhat fuzzy on its stand on MP3s for commercial use (DJs being paid to play is commercial use). Also found a Rueters article that states in part, “major labels will not license music to be sold as MP3 files”. Here’s the link for that artical.

The RIAA must adapt or die. I believe consumers don’t want DRM, and you’ll see people go to great lengths to obtain unprotected music. I also believe paying 99 cents a track for something I can only hear 10 seconds of is a load of shit. I will continue to recommend allofmp3.com to those wanting to purchase music online… listen to the whole album in low quality, purchase at reasonable prices in high quality.
