I have to say – that Z-Trip feller is great – I’m still listening to his New Year mix…
dammit – I meant DJ Zebra! The Z-Trip stuff is all right though…
The Z-Trip stuff is mainly creative breaks and blends. He produces his stuff “live” so-to-speak. Zebra, on the other hand, is an amazing mash-up producer and remixer who has a great ear for creative combos. Check out his Sex Pistols remix … it rocks. Also love the Kasabian + De La Soul mix he did.
I heard a song by Z-Trip on my local station, KEXP and wante to find out the name. It began with a quick sample of “I wonder what the future holds”. I think it was the Sex Pistols but I have not heard this sample in many years and just want to find the version they used. Can anyone help me figure this out?
