ACID Pro 5 crashes all the time and it’s driving me nuts! Touching the scroll bars or zooming while a project plays nearly guarantees an abrupt crash and program termination. Vestax has some sort of weird electric guitar turntable on demo at MusikMesse 2005. Looks like there is even some sort of mixer integrated into the base so the sound can be toggled for scratching. I can’t wait to see someone actually perform with this thing!

I can’t help but drool over this prototype of the Numark iPod DJ mixer — even if it is vaporware! The “consumer” version will be $250-350, while the “pro” version with pitch control will be available shortly thereafter for a currently undisclosed amount.
