Tom Compagnoni’s Wax Audio has just released an amazing political mash-up EP entitled  Mediacracy.  It’s a production that somehow manages to weave together “the bumbling contradictions of Alexander Downer, the harmonious mashing of Hollywood action movie trailers vs. US news war coverage, the expletive drenched tirades of Australia’s favorite shock-jocks, the anthemic declamations of a prevailing war president and his sentimental recitation of the world’s most beloved peace anthem.”  Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Tom Compagnoni is responsible for the sourcing, editing, and arrangement of the audio for each piece along with guitar and percussion on most of the tracks.  This guy is seriously talented and if you have any political mind at all, please give his new album a listen.  It’s free and released into the public domain, so go download it!
