My latest mash-up is a short but sweet combination of Taylor Dayne’s 1987 hit “Tell It To My Heart” and Shakedown’s 2002 club anthem “At Night.” There’s also a bit of New Order and Debbie Deb thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

Hi,
Love this bootleg! Great job but it would become even better if you could stretch it in time. Then this bootleg will become seriously the bomb!
Thanks for the feedback! You aren’t the first to suggest that it needs to be extended. I’m going to see how it does on the dancefloor … if it goes over well I will definitely get back to work on it!
Thanks,
–Matt
I can see why people would suggest it be extended - it’s just so smooth and the groove is working so well, no one will be NEAR ready enough to leave the dancefloor!! EXCELLENT choice of songs to mash - everything flowed together so well !!! GREAT tune, dude!!
wow, great job! I think it’d be even better at 5 minutes or, for sure.
Very good work Matt, these work very well together, especially like how you offset Taylor. Regards RR
I am a huge Taylor Dayne fan and was sure you would have destroyed one of her best tracks, so was ready to hate it, but you have done an excellent job! Absolutely love this mix - just cant stop playing it! A longer mix would be very welcome
Thanks, Martin. Glad I didn’t let the Taylor Dane fans down!

I have a Devo-Outkast mash-up that I would like to post, but I don’t know where to start…Could you point me in the right direction? (Forgive me if this isn’t the proper forum to post this!)
i love the bootmixed mp3 its fantastic. i was wondering what pulp song you used with fade into you?
Hi there, I just found your remix while I was lookin for Taylor Dayne stuff.
I m a huge fan of Taylor Dayne and collect each n every version of all her great songs. what can I say…all others already said it before….would like to hear an extended version of the mix
hey maybe you can do more Taylor Dayne mixes in the future? she s got many other great songs. I guess Tell it to my heart is her most remixed song. I know that there exists a mp3 file with her lead vocals (accappella) of her hit “how many” that also would be great to mix
keep doin that great job!!! greetz Mario, Frankfurt (Germany)
hey thanks for the great taylor mix - i love her!
can you get me a copy of that on CD?
i’ll pay!

Am loving the remix! I’m a massive fan of Taylors music, you have gone and done da gal proud! any chance of getting it on CD?
Well that would certainly be up to the two original artists — SHAKEDOWN and TAYLOR DAYNE — if it ever made it out for an official release somewhere. I wouldn’t want to land in copyright infringement jail for releasing it on CD myself.
This MP3 is purely for demonstration purposes and not meant for any sort of commercial endeavor.
Now on that note … I wonder if I could get the Taylor Dayne or Shakedown folks to take a listen. They might actually like it. Then again, they might not!
