I had started this one a while back and finally put the finishing touches on it this evening. Respected beatmixed.com readers, I present to you the enchanting vocals of EBTG’s “Missing” woven over my own special remix of Kraftwerk’s “The Model.” (And for the true trainspotters, you will probably notice plenty of other bands mixed in the backing instrumental track.)
What’s really satisfying about this particular project is that I actually like the finished product. That never happens. I would even play the hell out of it while DJing! And trust me, the last thing I do when I DJ is play my own stuff.

interesting beats.. a bit slower than some of the remixes I have heard with this song.. But flows nice nonetheless. Cool for a lounge bit in the early evening for sure.
Pretty good - it’s become a much more contemplative song now, whereas I remember the original ‘Missing’ was a bit more hurried. Might be good to try that “Owner of a Lonely Heart” all the way through…
This is a great idea - all three songs work well together. I don’t understand why all the echo and special effects to alter the vocal though, since the original, slower version from EBTG’s Amplified Heart CD was subtler than the Todd Terry remix. This would be a dance floor filler, especially for those who know “The Model”.
This is all new to me, i dont understand torrent, and GYBO (Get your biros out???) or mirror stuff.
But the model missing mash is the dogs bollox, how do i get to down load it permanently??
