The Playfair project claims to “decode Apple iTunes Music Store protected AAC files into unprotected AAC files so that they can be played outside of iTunes.” Has anyone tried it yet?

Wired is running a cool little piece on circuit bending — “the art of modifying existing electronics, usually those found in children’s toys, to create new sounds and unique musical instruments.” Apparently there’s even a convention dedicated to the hobby!
