Reason Online article on mash-ups

Reason Online ran an article in May examining “[h]ow musical collages are challenging traditional ideas of authorship.” Sadly enough, sample groups like the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, and Beck all refuse to license any of their material to other parties for compilations or reinvention.
